Welcome to the Meldon Park Estate.

Meldon Park Estate is a traditional rural estate based in Northumberland just West of Morpeth. The House sits on the North Bank of the river Wansbeck giving a commanding view over the river valley, situated in the middle of the Estate.

The Estate has been in the hands of the Cookson Family since 1832 and still very much exists on the same basis as it was when it was initially formed by Isaac Cookson when the land was purchased in 1832.

Now the estate can boast a range of new enterprises including the Kitchen Garden, a walled garden which now houses an excellent café and shop. This is run by Mark Stewart and Co and overlooks the garden which supplies a range of fruit and vegetables to the Café and other local retail outlets.

In addition to the Estate's traditional agricultural enterprises we also have a busy Stable Yard which offers full livery whilst also training point to pointers, log supply business, holiday accommodation and a full range of walks and tours of the house and estate.

Our aim is strengthen the Estate and its community through these new enterprises with the aim being to exceed the expectations of you the consumer; whether it’s a tailor made wedding, a winner at Cheltenham or a delivery of properly seasoned and dry logs.

Stewart & Co.'s at Meldon Park will reopen at the beginning of March.
